Barnfield Engineering is an expanding engineering company, providing support and services to Water Utility companies.
 

Due to company growth and development we are looking for an Experienced Project Manager at our Newbury (Berks) Depot.

Working with Thames Water and other Tier 1 Construction accounts, you will be leading the delivery of projects primarily in the utilities sector, ranging in duration and complexity. You will lead a team of technical experts who are committed to meeting the needs of our customers.

 

As a Project Manager, it is desirable that you have an understanding of wastewater and experience in the construction industry. We are looking for someone with a hands-on, flexible style who is keen to take an innovative approach to deliver the technology of tomorrow. In this role you may also have the opportunity to deliver business change projects, to meet the needs of an evolving organisation.

 

Project Manager Requirements:

  • Previous Project Management experience in construction and understanding of waste water is beneficial
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good organisation and time management
  • Excellent IT skills
     

 

Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Client interface
  • Survey work
  • Tendering
  • Design input
  • Procurement
  • Planning / Project delivery
  • Completion / handover documents
  • Projects vary in size and complexity and will be managed individually or as a team - full support is provided by our management team. Experience of working with utility companies would be beneficial.
